The partners of Florida Builders Direct acquired aAction Property Management, a fledging real estate rental company in December 2003. FBD made this move to improve rental management services to its growing investor market. Immediately after acquiring majority interest in aAction, the new owners began implementing significant changes to enhance customer service: proprietary software was purchased to track rental property maintenance, receipts and to speed owner disbursements. A seasoned real estate professional was recruited to manage the company, advertising and marketing programs were developed, and a direct seamless link between sales, builder, and property management was created.

aAction Property Management, Inc. is a growing company. Currently, there are approximately 120 properties under management, however, systems and personnel in place will effectively be able manage anywhere from 200 to 300 units. It is with this eye toward growth that keeps aAction attentive to details which separates it from the “ordinary” management companies.
